VINTAGE METAL STORAGE CONTAINER|LAOS
A vintage metal container traditionally used by the Khmu and other ethnic communities living primarily in northern Laos.
These containers were used as everyday personal objects for carrying chewing tobacco, slaked lime, and related materials. Made from metals such as brass and aluminum, their construction, form, and decorative details vary according to region and maker.
Each is a vintage piece that was used in daily life, retaining surface wear, dents, oxidation, and other traces of age and use. Today, they can be used for storing small objects or as display pieces.
