Traditional Tai・lue Bamboo Round Table
Handcrafted from bamboo by Tai・lue artisans in northern Laos. Lightweight and easy to move, the table can be used for tea, dining, or as a low stand for tableware, flowers, and everyday objects.

HOW TO CHOOSE
SIZE GUIDE
XS｜Diameter 30 cm × Height 15 cm
For tea for one, a small arrangement of tableware, or a vase. The most compact size and easy to move between rooms.
S｜Diameter 40 cm × Height 17 cm
For one person's meal, tea for one or two, or a compact low table. If you want one versatile size for everyday floor-seated use, start with S.
L｜Diameter 55.5 cm × Height 20 cm
For a more generous one-person setting, several dishes, or tea and drinks shared by two or more people. Choose L when you want more open space around the objects on the table.

If you are choosing between S and L, choose S for compactness and easy movement; choose L when the table will be used primarily for meals or when you prefer more surface space.
When not in use, the table can be hung on a wall. Turned upside down, it forms a basket-like shape and can also be used for simple storage. Bamboo is relatively resistant to moisture, making the table suitable for indoor and occasional outdoor use, including open-air tea gatherings and day camping.
Color / Finish
Light｜The lighter tone of bamboo.
Dark｜Kept in a space with a traditional cooking hearth for approximately two to three months; wood smoke gradually develops deep brown tones. No paint or artificial coloring is used. Color, shading, and traces of soot vary, and a smoky scent may remain.
Minor-mark pieces
Minor-mark pieces are available only in S and L, in Light. These pieces have slight black marks on the bamboo surface and are offered at ¥1,000 less than the standard price. To purchase one, select “S — Minor marks” or “L — Minor marks” under Size. There are no minor-mark pieces in XS.

Please Note
Each piece is handmade, and variations in shape, weaving and finish will occur. The tabletop and frame may also show slight irregularities or distortion, and individual pieces may not form a perfect circle.
As the tabletop is woven from bamboo, stability may vary depending on the base and shape of the object placed on it. Small glasses and vessels with narrow bases can be placed directly on the tabletop, but a tray or flat board may be used when additional stability is needed. Depending on where an item is placed, liquid inside a vessel may sit at a slight angle rather than perfectly level.
Please avoid placing heavy objects on the table. It is not designed for sitting or use as a step stool.
The tables are stored in spaces with traditional cooking hearths, and a faint smoky scent may remain. Minor marks from storage and transportation may also occur.
No chemical insect treatment is applied in order to preserve the natural qualities of the material. All pieces are treated with hot water before sale.

about Maintenance
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- The bamboo may retain a smoky aroma or traces of soot. If noticeable, leave it in a well-ventilated area and the aroma will gradually diminish.
- Avoid prolonged direct contact with white walls or light-colored fabrics, as some soot transfer may occur.
- Avoid prolonged storage in hot or humid environments, and do not leave the product wet.
- If it becomes wet, wipe away excess moisture and dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
- If insects are found, the item may be immersed in hot water at 60°C (140°F) or above for approximately 5–10 minutes. Avoid prolonged soaking.
